“JGR Construction really helped me out. Had a bathroom remodel that was messed up by someone else, and he came in, fixed everything and gave me a great deal. The work was solid and stress-free. I trusted him so much after that, I had him do my solar too — and again, great job. Good people, great owner. I truly appreciate the work.”

Whole-Home Remodeling
Whole-Home Remodeling
A whole-home renovation is the chance to make the entire house work better, not just make it look newer. Many local homes were built with divided rooms, older lighting, limited insulation, leaky windows, aging ductwork, and electrical systems that were never designed for today's lifestyle.
In the South Valley — Morgan Hill, Gilroy, San Martin, and Coyote — we often rework established ranch-style and suburban floor plans: opening walls, upgrading the rooms that get used most, improving lighting, and making the home more comfortable year-round.
Toward the foothills, in Los Gatos, Saratoga, and Monte Sereno, projects tend to involve larger footprints where energy efficiency matters at scale — insulation, window upgrades, smart electrical planning, and mechanical systems that match how the home is actually lived in.
In Campbell, Cupertino, and San Jose we see homeowners phasing full-house upgrades over time or tackling everything at once — better storage, updated electrical, improved airflow, and layouts that connect the main living areas without losing the character of the neighborhood.
- Open-concept layouts & removed dividing walls
- Insulation, windows & energy-efficient upgrades
- Electrical, lighting & smart home planning
- Kitchen, bath & whole-house finish coordination
- Ductwork, airflow & comfort improvements
- Permits, inspections & full project management

Behind the Walls
Energy efficiency starts before the walls are closed.
Insulation, air sealing, and electrical rough-in have to pass inspection wherever the home sits — Morgan Hill, Gilroy, San Jose, Los Gatos, Campbell, Cupertino, or through Santa Clara County in Coyote and San Martin. We plan for that from the start so the finished space is not hiding shortcuts behind drywall.
A successful renovation should feel like the home was always meant to work that way — brighter, cleaner, more efficient, and without the awkward soffits, mystery switches, and rooms that never seem to hold temperature correctly.
What Our Clients Say

“It's amazing! The kitchen looks better in white than the previous cherry color it gives a fresh touch and without buying new cabinets.”
“Very professional. Got my bathroom remodel done. House was occupied while the project was being worked on. Painters respected my home and fulfilled every single one of my demands. Overall, I am very happy with the remodel. My bathroom looks great. Just a great experience all the way around. Thanks, JGR Construction.”
“I had JGR Construction and his crew paint my kitchen, they did an amazing job! The work definitely gave my kitchen an upgrade — looks like brand new! Completely satisfied with the outcome and it was a pleasure making business with them. I have posted some before and after pics.”
“We used George and his crew for 3 projects. They do excellent work. George is very flexible and is a good communicator — keeps us informed along the way. They re-built a water damaged balcony, a bathroom remodel, and drywall repair due to a leaky pipe. Their workers are diligent, considerate, and perform quality work. Scheduling was a little bit of a challenge, but I imagine that's the case with most contractors these days due to Covid. But once they start — they're locked in and completely committed to the job. I'll be using JGR for future projects and renovations.”
“We renovated our kitchen through Jorge and we are beyond pleased with the entire process. They took care of every minute detail. The new countertops, backsplash, new flooring, new electrical outlets and re-finished cabinetry… Jorge's attention to detail and design decisions were noteworthy. What I really liked was Jorge's willingness to be there for me at any moment, day or night. Made the stressful project a smooth move knowing that you could easily reach him and his team along the way. Communication from him matters very much, ultimately in any project. They were here early morning and stayed almost every day until late evening to finish the project. The best part was, they would consult us and inform us at any point if there was any deviation from the agreed proposal. The team was very respectful, polite and discreet during the construction. JGR Construction is a well-organized team and we'd recommend it 100%. They were that good.”
